Student Uniform Information

Student uniforms must conform to the specific styles and colors mentioned below. All uniforms must be properly fitted. Uniforms must be worn appropriately at all times and maintained in a neat, clean manner. If you have questions about the acceptability of a specific item you find online, you are welcome to forward a link to principal@zprep.org for our review.

Girls

Jumper/Skirt & Top Outfit:
Scoop-neck Jumper (for Elementary students only) or Skirt (all students): Gray or Spilt-front Jumper (for Middle/high students only) or Skirt (all stude
nts): Blue Plaid from websites like www.landsend.com and www.flynnohara.com.
Leggings or spandex shorts (solid dark color and not sheer) must be worn under jumpers and skirts. Jumpers and skirts must come to the knee.

Short-Sleeved Ponte Dress Top of Knee:

Scoop-neck dress: Gray from Landends (for primary students only).

Top/Blouse (short or long-sleeved):

A button-up peter pan collar blouse in Light Blue may be worn with jumpers and skirts.

​

Outerwear:

Hunter green V-Neck Cardigan from      www.flynnohara.com

Gray Fleece Jacket during cold weather.

 

Shoes & Socks:

Socks or Tights (white athletic socks may be worn with athletic shoes).
Shoes: closed-back & toe-style (closed-back & toe-
athletic shoes in predominantly solid color are acceptable).

Boys

Pants:

Flat-front regular fit in Gray.

Shirt (short or long-sleeved):

Button-up Collared Button-up in Light Blue. Belts for boys in 3rd Grade and above.

Socks: White athletic socks may be worn with athletic shoes.

Tie: Gray or Blue Plaid.


Shoes: Closed-back & toe-style (closed-back & toe-athletic shoes in predominantly solid color are acceptable).

Additional Notes:

  • Belts, socks, shoes, and other accessories must complement the uniform and not detract from it.

  • Shirts/Tops must be tucked in at all times.

  • Skirts and Jumpers must be below the knee.

  • While ZCPS will not permit students to wear jackets or coats in the classroom, students may wear a sweater/fleece in the classroom.

  • The ZCPS Parent/Student handbook provides additional dress guidelines for special occasions.

  • The ZCPS Administration reserves final authority regarding the acceptability of student outfits.
