Mandatory Misconduct Reporting Requirements for Florida's School Choice Tax Scholarship Recipients: Pursuant to Section 1006.061(1), F.S., this school must post a notice that all employees have a duty to report all actual or suspected cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect, have immunity from liability if they report, and have a duty to comply with child protective investigations.

Pursuant to Section 1006.061(2), F.S., this school must post a notice that it has a specific practice for policies and procedures for reporting misconduct by educational support employees, instructional personnel, or school administrators that affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student, the contact person to whom a report is made, and the penalties imposed on educational support employees, instructional personnel, or school administrators who fail to report suspected or actual child abuse or alleged misconduct by other educational support employees, instructional personnel, or school administrators.
School's Response: Each, every, and all complaints must be directly sent to independent counsel and principal@zprep.org. Independent Counsel is specifically retained for ensuring the legal operation of the school and compliance with laws. Complaints are taken seriously and will be addressed immediately pursuant to independent advice and governing laws. Misconduct penalties for failure to follow laws and codes involve termination, investigation, and criminal prosecution under the laws of this land. Retaliation will never be tolerated and this school has an absolute zero tolerance policy for proven violations of applicable laws.
